Data protection
PRIVACY NOTICE.
If you write to us, join, book, or open the assistant, we use what you give us for that purpose. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train an AI model.
1. Who we are
Clone Centre Ltd. is the controller for personal data collected through this website. For a privacy question, email joseph@clonecentre.ai or clone@clonecentre.ai.
The company site at www.clonecentre.ai/privacy has its own notice. ANSAIR, HyperChat, TRAICE, Pipeline, Stripe checkout and Cal.com bookings are separate services. Each one tells you what it does with data when you use it.
2. The law this notice follows
We handle personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Cookies and similar storage also sit under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. A cookie is set only after you create an account or sign in, and it is there to keep you signed in.
3. What we collect
- Account. Your name, email, a hash of your password, and the company, AI stage, AI use and goal you choose to save. We store the consent text and the time you agreed, plus the page you joined from.
- Sign-in cookie. A cookie named
cc_session. It is strictly necessary, HttpOnly, and limited to this site. It is not set on a first visit. - Website assistant. Nothing is stored for the assistant until you open it. Opening it saves a session id in this browser so a five-minute guest conversation can stay in one piece. The messages, and the page you were on, are sent to HyperChat to produce the reply. A transcript may be emailed to Joseph.
- Bookings and payments. A coaching time is booked with Cal.com. Membership payment happens on Stripe. We receive the booking or payment result, not your full card number.
- 90-day tracker. What you type on the goal tracker stays in this browser. It is not sent to Clone Centre.
- Connection data. The host records the technical details needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request. Where an account event stores an IP, we store a hash of it.
4. Why we use it
- To provide what you asked for. The account, membership, coaching and products you request. The legal basis is the contract, or steps you ask us to take before one.
- To keep a record. Messages, bookings and payment results are kept so we can deliver them and, if needed, deal with a legal claim. The legal basis is the contract, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in keeping an accurate record.
- To run the site. Connection data is used to deliver and secure it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site.
Creating an account does not put you on a marketing list. Service messages, such as a payment receipt or a booking confirmation, are part of the thing you asked for.
5. The website assistant and the EU AI Act
The button on this site opens an AI system. It is labelled as AI before you send a message. It answers from Clone Centre's published information. It does not decide your membership, your price, your access, or anything else about you. A person can review the chat.
That is the transparency duty in Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the EU AI Act. This assistant is not a high-risk system under that Act: it is not used for credit, employment, essential services, law enforcement, or another Annex III purpose. This page is not a conformity assessment and it is not a CE mark. The company design standard is the AI policy.
6. Who else sees it
- Railway. This site and its database are hosted in the EU.
- HyperChat. Produces the assistant's replies from the message you send.
- Resend. Sends account, booking and membership email.
- Stripe and Cal.com. Take the payment or the booking when you choose those.
Type on this site is served by us. We do not send your IP address to Google to load a font. We do not sell personal data.
7. How long we keep it
An enquiry or guest chat that does not become a contract is deleted within 12 months of the last message. Account and payment records for a membership are kept while the account is open, and for up to 6 years after it ends where tax or a legal claim requires that. You can ask for deletion from the member dashboard, or by email. We complete the request and keep a short record that it was made.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to tell you what we hold and give you a copy, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, give it back to you where that applies, and object to use based on legitimate interests.
Email joseph@clonecentre.ai. We will respond within one month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, or at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would like the chance to put it right first.
9. Children
This website is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 through the account or the assistant.
